About Me

My name is Hari, I'm a 2nd year PhD student at Rice University working with Dr. T.S. Eugene Ng and Dr. Ang Chen (at the University of Michigan). My research consists of improving machine learning systems across all layers of the systems stack, from the host layer to the networking layer. I previously spent 5 years in industry working on various topics, from machine learning infastructure to high performance networking. I also previously worked on software engineering research with Dr. Premkumar Devanbu at UC Davis, machine learning research with collaborators at FOR.ai, and medical research with Dr. Uma Srivatsa at the UC Davis Medical Center.
